This gown leaves the waist where it is and widens in one unbroken sweep to the hem. The neckline cuts down in a V, which lengthens the neck, and the sleeves run the length of the arm to the wrist. The lace carries the pattern, worked open so what is under it still reads. The hem is cut long, and the back cuts down to a V.
