Nelly puts trousers where the skirt would be, cut wide enough to still read as bridal. The neckline cuts down in a V that runs well past the collarbone, and the sleeves are their own piece, worn with the gown or left off. The lace carries the pattern, worked open so what is under it still reads. The hem falls to the floor with nothing following behind it, and the back is left open.
