Amadora leaves the waist where it is and widens in one unbroken sweep to the hem. The neckline opens in one wide round curve, and the sleeves are their own piece, worn with the gown or left off. The lace carries the pattern, worked open so what is under it still reads. The hem runs out into a chapel train, the shorter of the two usual ones, and the back cuts down to a V.
