This gown holds a close bodice over a wide, structured skirt. The neckline opens in one wide round curve, and the sleeves run the length of the arm to the wrist. The lace carries the pattern, worked open so what is under it still reads. The hem runs out into a chapel train, the shorter of the two usual ones, and the back fastens with buttons down the spine, which is the side the ceremony sees.
