This gown is held to the body as far as the knee, then let go into a flare. The neckline opens in one wide round curve, and the straps are two fine cords, barely there. The lace carries the pattern, worked open so what is under it still reads. The hem runs out into a chapel train, the shorter of the two usual ones, and the back laces up, so the fit can be taken in or let out.
