Light is held to the body as far as the knee, then let go into a flare. The neckline closes high at the throat and leaves the shoulders and arms bare, and the straps meet and fasten behind the neck. The tulle is what gives a skirt volume with no weight behind it. The hem runs out into a chapel train, the shorter of the two usual ones, and the back is cut low.
