Debie is held to the body as far as the knee, then let go into a flare. The neckline runs level across the bust with nothing cut into it. The tulle is what gives a skirt volume with no weight behind it. The hem runs out into a chapel train, the shorter of the two usual ones, and the back fastens with buttons down the spine, which is the side the ceremony sees.
