Ambrose Magenta leaves the waist where it is and widens in one unbroken sweep to the hem. The neckline runs on the diagonal, one shoulder covered and the other left bare. The satin is heavy and smooth, and it holds a clean line. The hem runs out into a chapel train, the shorter of the two usual ones, and the back fastens with buttons down the spine, which is the side the ceremony sees.
