Jet leaves the waist where it is and widens in one unbroken sweep to the hem. The neckline is cut square, with the corners kept sharp, and the sleeves are their own piece, worn with the gown or left off. The lace carries the pattern, worked open so what is under it still reads. The hem is cut long, and the back is left open.
