This gown leaves the waist where it is and widens in one unbroken sweep to the hem. The neckline cuts down in a V, which lengthens the neck, and the sleeves come away, so one gown covers ceremony and party. The tulle is what gives a skirt volume with no weight behind it. The hem runs out into a chapel train, the shorter of the two usual ones, and the back laces up, so the fit can be taken in or let out.
