This gown holds a close bodice over a wide, structured skirt. The neckline is filled in with tulle fine enough that the trim seems to rest on skin, and the sleeves cover the top of the shoulder and stop there. The tulle is what gives a skirt volume with no weight behind it. The hem runs out into a chapel train, the shorter of the two usual ones, and the back fastens with buttons down the spine, which is the side the ceremony sees.
