The neckline cuts down in a V, which lengthens the neck, and the sleeves cover the top of the shoulder and stop there. The lace carries the pattern, worked open so what is under it still reads. The hem runs out into a chapel train, the shorter of the two usual ones, and the back has a keyhole cut into it.
