This gown leaves the waist where it is and widens in one unbroken sweep to the hem. The neckline cuts down in a V that runs well past the collarbone, and the sleeves are their own piece, worn with the gown or left off. The brocade is woven with a raised pattern and is heavier than it looks. The hem runs out into a chapel train, the shorter of the two usual ones, and the back closes with a zip.
