Cangiante stays close through the hip and begins to flare around mid-thigh. The neckline cuts down in a V, which lengthens the neck, and the sleeves cover the top of the shoulder and stop there. The lace carries the pattern, worked open so what is under it still reads. The hem runs out into a chapel train, the shorter of the two usual ones, and the back is panelled in tulle fine enough to read as bare.
