This gown leaves the waist where it is and widens in one unbroken sweep to the hem. The neckline cuts down in a V that runs well past the collarbone, and the sleeves cover the top of the shoulder and stop there. The lace carries the pattern, worked open so what is under it still reads. The back fastens with buttons down the spine, which is the side the ceremony sees.
