Maud falls from shoulder to hem in one column, with nothing built into the skirt. The neckline runs level across the bust with nothing cut into it, and the sleeves are their own piece, worn with the gown or left off. The lace carries the pattern, worked open so what is under it still reads. The hem is cut long, and the back is closed.
